If you’ve driven between Austin and Dallas within the past 10 years and you’ve glanced over to the east side of I-35 just north of Temple, you’ve seen the Double D Statuary Factory Outlet. It’s a great big lot full of cement statues of all shapes and sizes, some painted, some raw.
In any case, after countless drivebys in which we promised that we’d stop “the next time” Patita and I finally pulled over yesterday on our way back from a quick trip to see some baseball.
